Hello everyone.
We had a really nice weekend! A 3 day one to boot! We get a holiday some places don't so I had and extra day. We both got home Friday night and were so tired! We just relaxed and dozed most of the evening. It was good just to hear the quiet and be together with Sun Dog. 
Saturday we woke up earlier than normal on a weekend and we went out to breakfast and then went furniture shopping! We found a great set of tables for the living room. Our old ones are..well..OLD. Falling apart almost. We were tired of them coming apart and they just looked tired,ya know?
Anyway, we found some really nice new ones that are kinda fancy but not too much so. We also are looking for a new bedroom suit minus the headboard thing but we haven't found that yet.
We left the store we were in and I suddenly remembered the really nice antique store right down the street. We love to roam around in there and see all of the gorgeous and unusual things they have.
The place is big so it takes awhile to get through but it was fun!
I found an angel (wow, what a surprise, huh..lol!
) and a pretty wreath for our door.
Then we realized what time it was and we had to take off to see my parents. My uncle was having his birthday and we all went out and celebrated with him. That was nice. He is mentally handicapped and he loves to get simple things like candy or dollars or quarters for holidays and birthdays. He could care less about material things really and is perfectly happy with a small simple gift. Pretty great I think!
I wish we could all be that easily pleased!
We ate early and then my parents had a get-together to go to, so we were on our own again. We decided to go to the best bookstore in that area (or practically anywhere for that matter!).
Right next door was a great homemade ice cream place! WOOHOO! 
So we went there and then went in the bookstore. We spent so long in there! I just get lost in places like that! I love to read and everything is interesting. So the time flew by and we left there with 5 books for me and 2 for Sun Dog.
I thought I might buy out the store but I just don't got that kinda money! HaHa!
I started reading the first one as soon as we got home and I can't hardly put the thing down!
I don't know if any of you have heard of the books that are prequels to Peter Pan that are written by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson...They are FANTASTIC if you like fantasy things like that. If you like Harry Potter, you just might like these too. I LOVE them! I read the first two which are called: Peter and the Starcatchers, and Peter and the Shadow Thieves. This third and final one is called Peter and the Secret of Rundoon. It is GREAT! I am sorry they aren't going to write more but I hope they decide to write about another story..add their own imaginations to it. Their inspiration was Ridley Pearson's daughter who, after hearing the Peter Pan stories, asked her daddy, "How did Peter and Captain Hook meet in the first place?" She also wanted to know how Tinkerbell was made and where did she come from? Pretty intriguing questions!
Sunday, we went and saw Sun Dog's mom and spent a great day with her. My brother in law called her and said he was coming over there so we decided to go out for dinner. Just the family so that was really great too! Made my Mom-in-Law's day too!
Today was the extra day and a significant one too. We FINALLY closed on our refinancing loan and it went smoothly and quickly. We are now no longer in terrible debt and can pay off several bills.
YAY!
What a HUGE relief!!!!! 
A great day!
It is getting late and I need to go to bed...
